Data privacy and security
Lettria’s Knowledge Studio hosts client data locally on servers based in Europe, ensuring data sovereignty and reducing opportunities for unauthorized access. We employ end-to-end encryption and follow industry best practices, such as using secure SSL/TLS connections, updating our systems with the latest security patches, and conducting regular audits and penetration testing.
We strictly adhere to the EU’s GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act, and other relevant data compliance standards. But we know that compliance isn’t enough, and we work tirelessly to build data privacy into the foundations of our company. That’s one reason why we’ve partnered with an independent ANSSI-certified consulting agency to help guide our data governance programs. With their help on oversight and auditing, we ensure that we’re continually improving while also meeting all regulatory requirements.
Transparent insights and explanations
At Lettria, we want our clients to have clear explanations for every answer generated by our platform. We firmly believe that transparency and verifiability are crucial for building trust in AI. That principle bears fruit in multiple ways, as our clients can better understand insights generated from their data and thus make informed, well-reasoned decisions.
Ethical AI
Everyone at Lettria is committed to ethical AI principles, including fairness, accountability and transparency. We actively work to mitigate potential biases in our AI models and process by:
Using diverse, representative training data to ensure our models accurately reflect the real world.
Conducting fairness evaluations to identify and address potential biases in our predictions and recommendations.
Collaborating with external organizations and industry partners that support responsible AI development and research, including AI ethics leaders and open-source communities.
